Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son of Richard McCormick. The mother of the child was home and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two older brothers. McCormick always enjoyed singing, dancing and creating puppet shows. McCormick won her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent of the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to be a part of the business of show production. McCormick was chosen to play in her first big performance in 1964 on the tv spot for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. That same year, she was featured in another television commercial for Chatty Cathy's doll. The following year, McCormick was commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse to play the character of Wind It up and It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, chosen from more than 1200 auditioning children to play the older of three two-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) with Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. It lasted five years. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick revealed how during the 5th season of the television show, she was close to losing her virginity with her brother Barry Williams. At the time, she was 16, and he was 19. The incident would have happened as she describes. But, the time for our marriage was not the right one.
