Casey has kept her early period, her family life and schooling secret. There isn't much information about her. A&E Network originally produced "Storage War" and was trying to recruit Casey Nezhoda to be a part of the show. But they turned them down because of their time restrictions and the fact that Casey Nezhoda was in charge of taking care of their kids while Rene concentrated on his business. Following the third season, they had another shot as regular cast members. They acted as buyers in the initial six episodes before becoming the main cast in the second season.
